JCR/Honda Heads to the 30th Anniversary Vegas to Reno "The Other Way"!

JCR/Honda team is preparing for the 30th Anniversary Casey Folks Vegas to Reno, taking place August 12 through 15, 2026.

For the first time in the event's history, the race will run in the reverse direction. Known as "The Other Way," the 505-mile course will start near Dayton, Nevada, and take competitors south across the Nevada desert to the finish in Crystal, Nevada.

JCR/Honda will field 2024 Overall Motorcycle Champion Preston Campbell, 26, of Bozeman, Montana, and two-time Overall Motorcycle Champion Skyler Howes. The team will compete aboard a JCR/Honda factory-prepared CRF450X.

"Vegas to Reno has always been one of the toughest races on our schedule, and this year adds another element with the course running in reverse," said JCR/Honda Team Owner Johnny Campbell. "Nobody has raced it this way before, so everyone starts with the same unknowns. Preston and Skyler are both proven desert racers, and the CRF450X has shown it can handle these long days in the Nevada desert. We have had a good test program, the team is ready, and we are looking forward to getting the week started."
