Preston Campbell grew up in a racing family. Most childhood memories are traveling to races in a Honda boxvan and being at the races. He has been around a race team his entire life learning from his Dad, professional riders, and mechanics.

Preston started riding on a Honda QR50 when he was just 3 years old. Moving from his hometown of San Clemente, CA, to Murrieta at 14 years old allowed him increased opportunity to ride and race. At this time, Preston was exposed to multiple offroad racing disciplines, from MX to desert racing and everything in-between, making him a versatile rider, progressing his skills, and honing in on his life passion of racing dirt bikes. When he was 17, he started racing the 250-pro class at NGPC and WORCS on a CRF250R. In 2019 he started focusing on desert racing and finished 3rd 250 pro in NHHA and top 10 in overall National Hare & Hound points and clinching the points championship in the newly formed District 37 Sprint Enduro series. In 2020, he was bumped to the Open Pro class at NGPC and NHHA, piloting the mighty CRF450RX and the CRF450X. 2020 was a learning year on the bigger CRF models, having some solid rides and even winning the prestigious Glen Helen 24 hours. He built his strength and endurance that year, setting him up for an assault on the 2021 season. In 2021 he proved that he was a force to be reckoned with, finishing 3rd OA in the NHHA championship, racing to multiple podiums, earning himself a Gold Medal at the ISDE in Italy, and winning 3- District 37 #1 plates in Desert, Hare and Hound and Enduro divisions. The following year, 2022, Preston continued with his speed and consistency until an unexpected crash and injury sidelined him for the remainder of 2022. Overcoming major injuries is not for the faint of heart, and already in early 2023, Preston has proved himself he is on the way back to the top, with solid podiums in District 37 and qualifying once again for the ISDE, which will take place in San Juan, Argentina November 2023. It will be an exciting year to watch the young Red Rider progress and go for another Gold in November!
