2009 Baja Beach Bash

Jul 26th, 2009

Johnny and some of the JCR/Honda crew recently headed down to the 2009 Baja Beach Bash. Not sure what to expect from a trip that included 70+ riders, Johnny was excited to get across the border, onto the beaches of Baja and into the ride. The days that followed would turn into one of the greatest adventures any group of people have ever had riding in Baja. The stories and experiences from each rider are certainly not to be forgotten for a long time to come.

Many of those stories are captured in this link. http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=803524

Major kudos to the support work done by Baja Bound Moto Tours http://www.bajaboundmoto.com/ their effort was nothing short of amazing. Keeping 70 riders together, fed and fueled for 3 days of chasing Johnny Campbell around Baja is no small feat.

T.V. host and Baja fanatic Cameron Steele was also on hand to make sure everyone was having fun. In cruise director style, Cameron kept everyone on their toes and had challenges prepared for all level riders.

The trip was much more than the good time had by all. Money was raised to support some very worthy causes.

$4,400 donated to Santa Marta Orphange in San Vincente $1,200 donated to fallen rider Luis Garcia 113x from Mexico $1,000 donated to Racers and Ranchers

The hospitality from the people encountered on this adventure proved that the Baja spirit is alive, well and waiting for you!
