JCR/Honda's Timmy Weigand 2nd place WORCS Hollister, Ca

Apr 19th, 2009

JCR/Honda's Timmy Weigand takes 2nd place at the Hollister round of the 2009 WORCS series. Timmy has been on the gas round after round pushing harder and harder in his bid for a WORCS Championship. Known as a lightning fast Supercross racer he has turned into an Off-Road sensation and the 2009 season looks to be his best year ever. The Hollister round of the WORCS race is one of the hardest races all year long with tight trails, brutal bumpy roads and +90 degree temperatures. This weekend was a great race to show just how tough Timmy Weigand is. Timmy rocketed to an early lead against a stacked gate of the 30 best professional Off-Road racers in the world. The Honda mounted racer led the whole field for more than half of the 2 hour race. When the checkers finally dropped Timmy was in second; just 17 seconds outside of first.

I really wanted to win this one for Johnny. He has put so much in and I want to give him 100% every time I race. I was telling myself "keep pushing you can win this." I'm happy to be on the podium and we're going after the Championship. -Timmy Weigand

New for 2009 JCR/Honda would like to welcome Motion Pro to the family.
