Ryan Surratt continues to charge in 2023, earning himself a solid 2nd on the day and the AMA NGPC points lead!

Feb 6th, 2023

This past weekend the Dirt Diggers MC hosted their annual GP in Taft, CA. The DDMC used the recent rains to their advantage laying out a beautiful course through the high-flying rolling green hills of the Honolulu Hills Motorsports complex. The course was 6 miles long, with pro lap times at just over 9 minutes. JCR/Honda's Ryan Surratt started off the weekend strong by securing 1st overall in Saturday's AA event. In Sunday's main feature, Surratt had a mediocre start in 7th, ran an aggressive pace, quickly moved up into 5th, and then pushed hard to be in a podium position by the halfway point. Ryan challenged for the lead in the last three laps and ended up with a hard-fought, well-deserved 2nd place on his Gage Day prepped CRF450RX.

Preston Campbell had a solid ride as he continues to build endurance, putting his CRF250RX in the top ten in the Pro2 category with a 10th OA.
