Sep 21st, 2020

The popular series resumed in Johnson Valley this past weekend for round 2. The Desert MC club hosted the race at “Hammer-town” an area known for extreme rock crawling. The course consisted of 3 individual tests, each with different terrain and layout that the racers would run twice during the event. JCR/Honda CRF450X mounted, Preston Campbell was fastest on the day posting a score of 1:16:06. The top three finishers were all Honda CRF mounted with Evan Kelly, second and JCR’s Kendall Norman rounding off the Honda podium sweep in third.

"Preston has been on a terror lately, and his hard work is starting to pay off. I am really proud of his efforts. I also want to thank Kendall Norman for the racing wisdom he has been sharing with Preston. Great to see Honda sweeping the podium in the desert once again.“ -- Johnny Campbell
