JCR/Honda goes East to West for double podiums with Trevor Stewart taking 2nd at the 2017 Glen Helen WORCS race and Austin Lee taking 1st at the IXCR Mayhem in Medora, Indiana!

Jun 19th, 2017

Trevor Stewart continues to impress as he takes home his first 450 pro class podium with a 2nd place at this weekend's Glen Helen WORCS race! Everyone that rides with Trevor knows he has the speed and skill so it was only a matter of time. The Glen Helen round of the 2017 WORCS season proved to be that time. Trevor gated well and rounded the infamous Talladega in a top three position. He pushed his CRF450RX up into the second spot early in the first lap. At the halfway point of the 1.5hr pro main the California sun started to bake the 4.5 mile circuit and the race tightened up. Stewart was pressured for multiple laps. He held on strong to the finish and capture his first WORCS podium of 2017, in 2nd overall. Check out www.WorcsRacing.com for more info.

Austin Lee takes 1st Overall at the Mayhem at Medora, Indiana. Austin rolled in with one goal in mind- to win. Austin's start didn't go as planned, but the JCR speedster took advantage of his local knowledge and quickly moved through the pack and by then end of the first lap he was in the lead position. He pushed hard for the 1st half of the hot and dry 2 hour race. When the checkered flag dropped, Austin had rolled his way to a sizable 3 minute gap on his JCR/Honda CRF250R and was awarded with a rockin' guitar for his efforts! Check out www.IXCR.com for more info.

"Trevor has a very bright future in Off-Road racing. We are only seeing the beginning of what he is capable of. I'm super happy for him to get this podium and expect we will see many more from Trevor Stewart. I want to give his mechanic Benny Breck the nod for building Trevor a rocketship and say congratulations to Austin Lee for a stellar performance, coming away with a big win at the Medora Mayhem in Indiana. I'm very excited to see the continued top results and and efforts being put forth by these young racers and solid performances from our crews. Thank you all for the support!" -- Johnny Campbell
