Timmy Weigand Dominates abord his HONDA CRF450R & CRF250R winning both classes at the 2009 Dodge National

Oct 6th, 2009

Timmy Weigand did what he does best at the 2009 Dodge National this past week. What is that you ask? Winning both the 250 and 450 pro classes. Timmy went right to work and took his Honda to the top of the podium in the first moto of the 450 class. The second moto was not as easy for the Timmy; he had his hands full with Jesse Casillas and Austin Howell. Timmy was still able to stay on the box and was tied in points with Casillas going into the third and final moto. Before the start of the third moto the track was drenched with water. Timmy stated, “I really need a good start now”. Well his wish was granted when the gate dropped, Timmy jumped out and grabbed the holeshot. He and Casillas had a war on their hands and whoever won the moto would take the overall. Timmy was able to come away victorious and grab the overall. With the 250 title also in hand it was a perfect week. Timmy was consistent and was on the podium in every moto he raced.
