Trevor Stewart WINS 50th Anniversary Lake Elsinore GP Harvey Mushman!

Nov 12th, 2018

For the 2nd year in a row, Trevor Stewart lined up to race the legendary Lake Elsinore Grand Prix Harvey Mushman endurance race. This was no ordinary year, however, this was the 50th anniversary and the LEGP promoters created a spectacular new course paying homage to the history and challenged the racers with a mix of high speed, technical and Moto X sections as well as favorite of all the racers racing through the streets of Old Town Lake Elsinore. Normally a mild-mannered main street old town vibe the race had restaurants and bars bustling with activity with what seemed like most of Southern California in attendance for this race.

"Trevor knows exactly what it takes to win this prestigious event and delivered a great race. 2nd off the start he moved into the lead on lap 1 and never looked back. The competition was giving chase but Trevor kept the race in hand and took the Checkered flag with about a 30-second lead. Special thanks to all the sponsors that help our program exist and to the Stewart family for all the hard work and to Gage Day who prepped Trevors JCR/Honda CRF450RX LEGP winning Red Rocket." -- Johnny Campbell
